HOW TO GROW CUCUMBER
Start indoors 3–4 weeks before last frost, plant out 1–2 weeks after last frost. Direct seed when soil and day temps are above 70–85˚F at least one week after last frost. Sow in rows or hills thinning to 3-4 plants per hill. Cucumbers are heavy feeders and thrive with ample amounts of well-decayed organic matter. For greenhouse cucumbers, prune to one central leader on a trellis for. Cucumbers prefer an air temperature of at least 70°F during the day, 60°F at night.
